Professional Services for Touhy Avenue at Gross Point Road/Harts Road Improvement Phase III Engineering

The services to be provided to perform Phase III Engineering Services for the above project described shall include but are not limited to the following construction services: 1. Complete all work in a profession and satisfactory manner while complying with STP, CRRSAA, and TAP-L program requirements. Consultant shall follow the IDOT BLR and BDE Manuals and IDOT documentation procedures. 2. Project record keeping: Engineer shall keep daily diary and Inspectors Daily Reports to track job progress 3. Measurement and tracking of all installed contract quantities. Engineer shall keep field books or inspector daily report and quantity book to track completed pay item work. 4. Field Notes: Engineer shall keep an ongoing mark up set of plans consisting of all field changes from the design. Provide detailed sketches and photos when necessary. 5. Schedule: Engineer shall review the contractor generated schedule and use it to monitor progress. Deviations from the schedule will be addressed immediately and the engineer shall work with the contractor on returning to the original schedule. Major deviations from the schedule shall be documented in writing, notifying the contractor of the need to increase production rates. 6. Submittals: Engineer will review, return, and comment to contractor within 7 days of receipt of shop drawings, diagrams, illustration, samples, schedules, results of test, and other data required to be submitted by contractors. Engineer will also review: a. Compliance with Specifications b. Change Order Requests c. Construction Questions d. Specification Interpretation
