Westview Cemetery Mowing and Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance within Westview Cemetery, located at 2051 Division Street, Augusta GA 30904 and the adjacent Westview Memorial Gardens (pauper cemetery). Services to include: A) Mowing (mulch, bag or remove clippings), string trimming, edging (sidewalks, curbs, and bed edges where applicable), all sidewalks and roadways are blown off, no grass or debris blown into curbs/gutter. During fall/winter, blow leaves from adjacent gutter/internal road areas into turf and either mulch, bag or remove. B) Landscape Bed areas at shop building - All beds and planted areas are to be policed for trash and debris during each mowing cycle for the duration of this contract. - Weeding performed no less than every other mowing cycle as needed to maintain a weed free appearance. All weeds shall be removed either by hand, or by pre-and/or post emergent herbicides. - Pine straw applied at 3” depth once during the year, in early spring prior to Masters. C) Spraying: All sand lots, walkways, roadways, fences, etc. shall be sprayed with glyphosate, 2,4,D and other chemicals as deemed appropriate a minimum of 5X cycles annually (April 1, May 15, July 1, August 15, October 1, 2021). Small enclosed plots may be sprayed to enhance quality and visual appearance. D) Irrigation: No irrigation system currently exists at Westview Cemetery.
