CLALLAM COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) SEALED proposals will be received by the Board of Clallam County Commissioners at 223 East Fourth Street, Room 150, Port Angeles, Washington. Publicly opened and read aloud for: The final design and construction of a bag filtration water treatment plant for the Bullman Beach Water System that that meets the approval of the Washington State Department of Health- Office of Drinking Water (ODW) under state health requirements and standards. A conceptual plan design for the bag filtration water treatment system has been completed. The complete RFP proposal informational packet including water system information, scope of work, timeline and deliverables, proposal content, submittal requirements, evaluation criteria, and general terms and conditions may be obtained from the Clallam County Public Works Department, 223 East 4th Street, Suite 6, Port Angeles, Washington 98362, (360) 417-2319. Questions shall be directed to Steve Gray, Deputy Director, at (360) 417-2290. The sealed proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, "RFP PROPOSAL - WATER TREATMENT PLANT FOR THE BULLMAN BEACH WATER SYSTEM PROJECT, RFP 2023-001. Address proposals to: Board of Clallam County Commissioners, 223 E. 4th Street, Suite 4, Port Angeles, Washington 98362 or hand-deliver to 223 E. 4th Street, Room 150, Port Angeles, Washington. Proposals received late by the Commissioners' Office, delivered to other offices, received by fax or email or by any other means will not be considered. Pre-Proposal Walk-Through: The bag filtration water treatment plant conceptual plan design is based on County operation of this type of system at its Camp David Junior facility. A pre-proposal walk-through at both the Camp David Junior facility and the Bullman Beach Water System (project site) will be held on Tuesday April 11, 2023. The Camp David Junior facility walk-through will be held from 9:00- 11:00 a.m. at 1452 Camp David Junior Rd. (on Lake Crescent), Port Angeles, WA. The Bullman Beach Water System walk-through will be held from 1:00- 3:00 p.m. at 1592 Highway 112, Sekiu, WA. All interested applicants are to meet at each site during the scheduled time.
