Description | Leisure Village Association 2022 Roadway Improvements Consisting of approximately 1,800+/- tons of FABC Surface Course; 3,200+/- tons of Stabilized Bituminous Base Course; 3,570+/- LF of Concrete Curb; 9,600+/- SF of Concrete Sidewalk, 54,700+/- SF of Reinforced Concrete Driveways; 7+/- Concrete Drainage Structures; 300+/- lineal feet A.D.S. Storm Drainage Pipe; 14,100+/- SY of 6" Thick Dense Graded Aggregate; 400+/- L.F of 4" Wide Yellow Traffic striping; 580 +/- L.F of 4" Wide White traffic Striping; 80 +/- L.F of 12" Wide White Traffic Striping. Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) Certificate from a Surety Company is required indicating consent to be bound as surety and guarantor for performance required under the Contract Documents. A Maintenance Bond is required in an amount to be equal to 20% of the total amount of the Bid and must be in effect for one (1) year after the completion date. The Leisure Village Association reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Leisure Village Association and fairness of the bidding process. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Contract Documents. The right is also reserved to award any, all, or none of the Base or Supplemental Bids. No interpretation of the meaning of the Drawings, Specifications or other pre-bid documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request from such interpretation should be in writing addressed to the Engineer at the address given above and to be given consideration must be received at least ten (10) working days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. Any and all such interpretations and any supplemental instructions will be in the form of written addenda to the Specifications which, if issued, will be mailed by certified mail, with return receipt requested, to all prospective bidders (at the respective addresses furnished for such purposes). Mailing will be timed so as to have the addenda to the contractors no later than seven (7) days, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays excepted, prior to the date for acceptance of bids. All addenda discussed shall become part of the contract documents. TIME OF COMPLETION: The work to be performed under this Contract shall be completed on or before October 31, 2022 |
