Relocatable Classrooms Exterior Renovations and Repairs

Provide labor to re-do the T111 siding on portable classrooms throughout the district. The Contractor will need to remove the door, the windows and either the ramp or the step to do this work. All Pinellas County Schools portables are 24 x 36. We will be removing the T111 siding down to the 2x framing and also replace any and all damaged 2x framing members. Various classroom portables will need repairs around the door openings. Replace any tie down strapping that is needed. Install new Tyvek to the exterior walls, cutting and folding into window and door openings. Install new T111 siding while cutting out for the windows and door. All nailing of the T111 siding onto the framing will require a #8 ring shank galvanized nails. Install new windows including taping the nail flange and trim them out with 1x4 on the outside and ¾ quarter round on the inside. Re install door, jams including threshold and closer making sure that the door is closing properly. Install corner trim as needed and fill all nail holes with caulk. The grounds will be returned to the original condition and daily cleanup of each site is mandatory. This work shall be completed by a Florida licensed Residential Contractor.
