| Description | The City of Coalinga seeks proposals from qualified vendors for the design and delivery of shade structures for Centennial and Sandalwood parks located in Coalinga, CA 93210. One (1) shade structure is needed at each park. Installation of the shade structures will be performed by City Contractor as part of the City's Park Exercise Equipment project which includes construction of connecting sidewalks, perimeter curb, poured in place rubber surfacing, and outdoor exercise equipment at the two parks. While the primary design specification calls out rectangular and square hip shelters, the city would also like to receive alternate design proposals that fit the site conditions and use. The focus shall remain in providing shade for the users of the new outdoor exercise equipment area being constructed by others. Examples of alternate designs may be those with multiple canopy structures, layered sails, or 4 point hypar sails. Preliminary site plans for both Centennial and Sandalwood Parks are included as Attachment 1 of this RFP. No site visit is required, and no pre-bid meeting will be held. |
