Description | Starr Corporation is the CM/GC for this project. Starr will collect bids and then open them with a representative of the owner. Please contact Michael Arrington via email at michael@starrcorporation.com with questions. Scope of work includes the following: o Provide and install kitchen equipment as shown on schedules on Sheet A-3.7. o Provide and install food service equipment as shown in specification section 114000. o Provide and install hoods H1.1, H1.2, and H1.3. o A secure storage site, on campus, will be provided by the owner for the contractors use. This will allow for early procurement of equipment. o Scope of work to include setting each piece of equipment in place. Scope includes unpacking and removing protective materials. Electrical, water, waste, gas, and duct hook up is excluded from this scope of work. o Scope of work includes start up and training. Phasing and Schedule: o Notice of Award-March 10, 2023 o Full submittal package to Starr for review on, or prior to, March 31, 2023. o Equipment Installation June 2024 Starr Corporation is the CM/GC for this project. Starr Corporation may elect to submit proposal(s) on bid packages. Starr Corporation's proposal will be submitted no later than 12:00 PM on the bid date. This early bid delivery is designed to give all bidders an assurance of an open, competitive, and fair bidding environment. Special Bid Instructions: 1) Substitution Requests will be received through Thursday, 5/11/23, only. 2) Pre-Bid RFI's will be received through Monday, 5/15/23, only. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Approximately 12,000 sqr. ft. of new single story elementary school construction, approximately 51,000 sqr. ft. of existing elementary school building remodeling with various types of alterations, along with related exterior site work and playground improvements as indicated in the Contract Documents. |
