Hidden Lake Forest Preserve Bridge Restoration and Reconstruction

The project involves removing and disposing of two existing prefabricated bridges and the restoration of an Iron Bow Truss Bridge. The Iron Bow Truss Bridge and one of the prefabricated bridges are currently in-use and the remaining prefabricated bridge is currently on the ground and not in use. The existing in-use bridges will be removed from their existing abutments which will be demolished. The Iron Bow Truss Bridge will be restored per the plans and placed back in service on new abutments. At the location of the existing in-use prefabricated bridge, a new prefabricated bridge will be placed on new abutments.
