Online Q&A No The City of Corona is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) to provide all required professional planning, architectural, engineering and interior design services, for the design and preparation of construction plans and bid specifications package for the relocation of Fire Station No. 2, and associated technical support during the bid and construction phases of the project. The objective of this RFQ is to provide sufficient information to enable qualified Consultants to submit a written Statement of Qualifications that demonstrates recent experience in designing fire stations. This RFQ is not a contractual offer, nor is it a commitment to purchase services. Contents of this RFQ and the Consultant's submittal will be used as the basis to determine final contractual obligations. It is understood that this RFQ and the successful Consultant's submittal may be attached or included by reference, in part or in whole, to any agreement regarding the services included in this RFQ between the City and said Consultant.Questions regarding this RFQ must be directed to Tracy Martin, Capital Improvement Project Manager, at Tracy.Martin@CoronaCA.gov. Funding for the project is through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021, which allocated funds to states, territories, tribal areas, cities and counties for pandemic relief. ARPA funding requirements state that funds must be fully encumbered to projects by December 31, 2024, with a final expenditure deadline of December 31, 2026. Therefore, the successful Consultant will need to have sufficient resources to ensure completion of requested services no later than June 30, 2023 to allow for sufficient time to bid and award construction for the project.
