Breisch Street Bridge Improvements

The construction of 0.0322 miles of Bridge Replacement 76-334 on Breisch Street being known as Project No. WS20224 in Washington County, Mississippi. The award, if made, will be to the lowest qualified bidder on the basis of published quantities. The Board of Supervisors of Washington County hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded the full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Washington County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal. Bids must be hand delivered, or otherwise physically delivered by public or private couriers or delivery service, including but not limited to U.S. Postal Service, Certified Mail with return receipt requested, United Parcel Service, Federal Express, or by any other delivery method wherein receipt of said bids must be acknowledged, in writing, by the addressee at Washington County to Ms. Marilyn Hansell, Chancery Clerk, attention, 900 Washington Avenue Room 2, Greenville, MS 38702. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
