Description | All responsive bidders must demonstrate successful completion of projects of similar size and scope to be considered for the award of this contract. Description: WIN 28135.00 Specialized Welding services for bridge superstructures and associated components. Location: Regions 1 - 5 Outline of Work: Contractor experienced in complete joint penetration welds at x-ray level, partial penetration welds and backgouging, is to provide labor, incidentals and/or equipment as specified to perform welding services for bridge superstructures and associated components. Work will be on an as needed basis. A Bidder is not required to bid all Regions but may bid on one or more Region. Contracts may be awarded to each responsive, responsible bidder that meets the requirements and specifications. Questions received after 12:00 noon of Friday prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and the Department will not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. TTY users call Maine Relay 711. There will be no bid bond, performance bond or payment bond required. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department. This Contract is subject to all applicable State Laws. The right is hereby reserved to the MaineDOT to reject any or all bids.
