Description

Marine waste oil and bilge water pumping/disposal, marine and industrial cleaning, hazardous waste transportation, waste handling and proper disposal services for two ferries maintained and operated by the County. The following ferry vessels are moored at the Steilacoom Ferry Landing located at 56 Union Ave, Steilacoom WA 98388: > M/V Christine Anderson (Subchapter "K" Vessel, 219 passengers including crew and approximately 54 cars) > M/V Steilacoom II (Subchapter "K" Vessel, 292 passengers including crew and approximately 54 cars) Routine scheduled maintenance for the Ferry Vessels will include but is not limited to: Waste oil pumping and proper disposal Bilge water pumping and proper disposal Glycol/water mix removal from vessels-if present Steam cleaning of bilges Other services both for the ferry and other pierce county facilities may include: Transfer and disposal of miscellaneous waste materials (i.e. gas cans, oil drums, propane tanks, etc.) Industrial cleaning, tank cleaning, confined space cleaning, to include but not be limited to oil tanks, diesel tanks, polymer tanks, vactor truck tanks, sewer manhole enclosures, etc. 24-hour emergency response to spills Question Deadline 10/13/2023 at 4:00 PM PT.
