| Description | Emergency Flood Response Services to provide the initial response to mitigate flooded building structures, components, systems and contents; for the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA New England Healthcare System, Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 (VISN 1). Emergency Flood Response Services include but are not limited to: Initial on-site assessment; mobilizing necessary personnel, equipment and materials; pumping standing water; extracting water from carpets and other porous materials; removing unsalvageable building materials, components, systems, and contents; drying salvageable building materials, components, systems and contents; and cleaning and/or disinfecting water-impacted interior building structures, components, systems and contents. |
