North Hills Pond Maintenance Project

Provide: services for the cleaning out and lining an existing livestock watering pond with clay located on the Bald Hills approximately 28 miles north of Cedar City, Utah. Pond location already exists and needs reconstruction or maintenance to allow water to be held over from snow and rain allowing sustainability for livestock and wildlife through the summer months. The approximate size of the pond is 32,000 square feet. Pond will need to be cleaned out, free of debris, widened and re-clayed so that water will not leach out. Clay should be applied at the rate 4lbs/sq.ft and then be tracked or packed into the soil. Location: This project is located on North Hills 28 miles north of Cedar City, Utah. The pond site is located north of Cedar City, Utah; approximately 10-20 miles. Elevation varies and is between 6,500 feet with moderate rolling topography some areas will require a high clearance vehicle. Vicinity map showing sites is enclosed.
