Project A: Transportation Facility The Project will have a building footprint of 12,375 square foot (9) 30' bays x 55 deep. The Project will include a Pre-Engineered Metal Building Construction on slab on grade. 5 Bays would be unconditioned pull through maintenance bays. The other 4 would be two story. Level 1 of the conditioned space is 5,500 square feet with lockers, toilets, office and reception, break room, shop, and storage. Level 2 of the conditioned space is 5,500 square feet with 3,800 sf professional development room, 400 square foot warming kitchen and 1,000 square foot dispatch office. Package DX HVAC system in conditioned space, heaters and vents in unconditioned space. Site work to include 150 bus parking spaces and associated drives, 230 additional auto parking spaces, detention pond, utilities, parking lot lighting and security, perimeter chain link fencing. The District currently anticipates that another 800 square feet in additional construction as a Technology Center is incorporated into the Project.The estimated construction cost is $4,750,000.00. Project B: HES Facility Hutto Elementary School Additions and Renovations Project (located at 100 Mager Lane, Hutto,Texas 78634) is anticipated to include the following: Demolition of approximately 15,000 square foot existing building. Construction of approximately 37,000 square feet of new, two story additions. Renovations to remaining 60,000 square feet of existing building to include new sprinkler system, new HVAC controls and HVAC outside air units, new kitchen serving line and some kitchen equipment, reconfiguration of some rooms and finishes. Exterior work to include relocating the playground, some new vehicular drives and drop off canopies, piping storm sewer, new exterior lighting, some utility relocation, and new landscaping at front and in courtyard. The estimated construction cost is $12,193,000.00. Project C: Various Elementary Renovations The District anticipates phased renovations for each of the schools included in the Project. Renovations of existing classrooms to support district-wide project-based learning (PBL) learning initiatives, lighting retrofits, roofing, kitchen serving line renovation at Nadine Johnson Elementary School, civil improvements, and technology and campus-wide AV upgrades. The estimated construction cost is $7,000,000.00.
