Description | To remove and replace approximately 548.5 lineal feet of concrete sidewalk and pathway which vary from approximately 48 to 60 inches in width, with the majority of which being 60 inches in width. The concrete walkways are found throughout the CCC Los Padres residential center. The damaged concrete sections have been marked for removal and after their repair, will allow for our corps members and visitors to walk throughout the campus without trip hazards. Please check the IFB & Attachments for more scope of work & details how to submit your bid packet. 1. Remove damaged concrete sections (~548.5LF total), marked with white spray paint, on each section of concrete to be removed. 2. Extend existing pathways approximately 2 FT in order to butt up against the existing asphalt roads in six (6) specified locations. 3. Supply and install form materials and excavate as needed to meet minimum 4" thick concrete pathway. 4. Fill and compact subgrade (as necessary) to infill existing squirrel tunnels. 5. Install and secure 12-inch #4 rebar rods into the existing concrete with a minimum of 4 inches of penetration into each concrete section and 16 inches apart. Use only Simpson Strong Tie SET-XP10 Epoxy Adhesive (or approved alternate). 6. Supply and install 6x6 10/10 WWF (Wielded Wire Fabric) throughout each section of concrete. 7. Supply and install minimum 2500PSI concrete. 8. Finish concrete with a light broom, non-slip finish - to match the existing pathways. 9. There may be up to three (3) separate inspections required for this project performed by the CSLO and/or the CCC. See below for inspection details. Inspection 1: After Demolition of damaged concrete.
