Carpet Cleaning BPA

The contractor shall clean the desired carpeted areas determined by the Point of Contact (POC). The contractor shall provide steam cleaning services which includes but is not limited to removing all dirt spots, stains, and gum as part of the steam cleaning process. The contractor shall ensure the cleaning process will not jeopardize the serviceability, degrade the inflammability, or mar the appearance of the carpet using safe solutions and compounds. The contractor is not required to move furniture, but shall clean all accessible areas. Cleaning in the closet shall be required only if requested by the POC. Any stain that is not completely removable must be identified to the POC prior to the cleaning completion so all efforts of the stain removal can be verified and a satisfactory/unsatisfactory determination can be made. The Government will take into account the age of the carpet and the amount of foot traffic as an example in making the determination. The Contractor shall ensure all cleaning is performed in accordance with all local, state, and federal regulations
