Description

FFP Design/Build Task Order for Hurricane Elsa Building Repairs at the trident Refit Facility. Work under this Task Order includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to provide extensive repair work to the three TRF buildings. The scope includes: B4026: Building 4026 is a 143,273 SF, one-story (39 foot tall) brick veneer/metal panel structure built in 1985 and requires restoration and renovation due to age and damage from a tornado associated with Hurricane Elsa. Restoration repairs include, but are not limited to, replacement of the brick veneer and metal panel exterior enclosure system, including cold formed steel substructure, portions of the membrane roofing system including insulation, replacement and refinishing of the interior construction and finishes, refurbishment of the overhead crane systems, replacement of the plumbing fixtures, replacement of the HVAC system, replacement of the fire protection and detection system, replacement of the electrical system, replacement of select specialty equipment and replacement of furnishings. B4027: Building 4027 is a 130,015 SF, one-story (32 and 45 foot tall) brick veneer/metal panel structure built in 1986 and requires restoration and renovation due to age and damage from a tornado associated with Hurricane Elsa. Restoration repairs include, but are not limited to, replacement of the brick veneer and metal panel exterior enclosure system, including cold formed steel substructure, portions of the membrane roofing system including insulation, replacement and refinishing of the interior construction and finishes, refurbishment of the hydraulic elevator, refurbishment of the overhead crane systems, replacement of the plumbing fixtures, replacement of the HVAC system, replacement of the fire protection and detection system, replacement of the electrical system, replacement of select specialty equipment and replacement of furnishings. B4028: Building 4028 is a 51,447 SF, one-story (29 foot tall) brick veneer/metal panel structure with a metal panel tower (82 foot tall) built in 1988 and requires restoration and renovation due to age and damage from a tornado associated with Hurricane ELSA. Restoration repairs include, but are not limited to, replacement of the brick veneer and metal panel exterior enclosure system, including cold formed steel substructure and exterior windows, replacement of the built up roof with a new membrane roofing system including insulation, replacement and refinishing of the interior construction and finishes, refurbishment of the overhead crane systems, replacement of the plumbing fixtures, replacement of the HVAC system, replacement of the fire protection and detection system, replacement of the electrical system, replacement of select specialty equipment and replacement of furnishings. Note from Sauer Construction: additional design documents will be available once developed. Addendum #1-#5 have been issued as of 7-15-2022.
