Description | District Office HVAC Replacement Project This is a PREVAILING WAGE project. Bids not submitted on the proper forms will be rejected as non-responsive Questions regarding bid specifications and site work should be directed to Debbie Gordon at debbie.gordon@twinriversusd.org by NOVEMBER 22, 2022 @ 2:00 p.m. Each Bid must be accompanied by one of the following forms of bidder's security: (1) cash; (2) a cashier's check made payable to the District; (3) a certified check made payable to the District; or (4) a bidder's bond executed by a California admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120, made payable to the District in the form set forth in the Bid Documents. Such bidder's security must be in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum amount of bid for each site, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed Contract, if the same is awarded to such bidder, and will provide the required performance and payment Bonds, insurance certificates and any other required documents. In the event of failure to enter into said Contract or provide the necessary documents, said security will be forfeited. Within 10 days after notification of the Award of Contract, the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish, simultaneously with execution of the Contract, a Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond in the form required by the district, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price from an admitted surety company as defined in Code of Civil Procedure section 995.120. Start Date: Construction January 09, 2023 Substantial Completion Date August 23, 2023 Contract Completion (Closeout) November 24, 2023 The Board reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and further reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids or in the bidding Project scope includes but is not limited to the replacement of existing mechanical systems, connection of new mechanical systems to existing building control system, patch and repair of existing roof around new units as shown in project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours. |
