Woodland Shores Erosion Repairs Project

The Woodland Shores Erosion Repairs project includes HMA pavement on approximately 1200 ft of roadway, installing 8 inches of aggregate and resurfacing with 2 lifts of asphalt, installation of new storm sewer and improvements to existing drainage structures. Main work items will include 940 SYD of HMA Surface Removal; 940 SYD of Aggregate Base, 8 Inch; 120 Ton of HMA, 13A; 93 Ton of HMA, 36A; 845 LFT of Asphalt Curb; 300 LFT of Storm Sewer, 12 inch; 5 EA of Drainage Structure, Modified; Native Seeding; Traffic Control, and various appurtenances along with alternate for Flexamat Plus. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The use of local contractors and labor is encouraged. A certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Michigan payable without condition to the OWNER or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to 5 percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) days. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price. Bond forms are included in the Contract Documents.
