Description

Houston Dr NW Culvert Replacement CP# 63017 Major work items include: Gravel Borrow Incl. Haul; Temporary Stream Diversion; Structure Excavation Class A Inc Haul; Erect Precast Culvert; Crushed Surfacing Base Course; Planting Site; Temporary Bypass Road; Flaggers; 2" Private Septic Line Adjustment and pumping and other work. Cost estimate range: $350,000 to $550.000. . (Note: Bidders are encouraged to "Register as a Bidder" on the BXWA website in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the "Bidders List." This service is provided free of charge to prime contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.) 3. BID DEPOSIT: All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent of the amount of such bid proposal. 4. AWARD AND REJECTION OF BIDS: The contract for the public work shall be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. The Board of Thurston County Commissioners may waive informalities in the bidding, reject any or all bids for good cause, reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid deposit, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of Thurston County is served. 5.
