Description | Any questions about the Electrical Drawings must be submitted in writing by email to the project consultants Project Manager, Dwight Walters, PE, Senior Project Manager email: dwalters@verdantas.com by 5:00 pm on Wednesday 11/2/2022 to be included in the final Addendum #5 that will be issued on Tuesday 11/8/2022 by 1:30 pm. Riverwalk Railing Upgrades This bid includes all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and mobilization for removing existing Railings and installing Aluminum Railings with Stainless Steel Cables and Under-Rail Lighting. Any technical questions should be referred to Senior Consultant Matt Spong, RLA at mspong@duffnet.com. This project is subject to the State of Delaware's prevailing rate regulations pursuant to 29 Del.C. Ch. 69 6960. Bidders will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin in consideration of this award. Minority Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Women-Owned Business Enterprises, and Veteran-Owned Business Enterprises will be afforded full opportunities to submit bids on this contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The time of the opening of the bid may be extended from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two days' notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine, or other electronic means to those bidders' receiving plans. The Contractor shall comply with all requirements set forth in 29 Del.C. Ch. 69 6962. During the construction work, the Contractor and each Subcontractor shall implement an Employee Drug Testing Program in accordance with OMB Regulation 4104 Regulations for the Drug Testing of Contractor and Subcontractor Employees Working on Large Public Works Projects (19 DE Admin. Code 4104). Large Public Works Projects is based upon the current threshold required for bidding Public Works as set by the Purchasing and Contracting Advisory Council. |
