Description | Contractors must submit questions through the Public Purchase web site, using the instructions below. Questions must be submitted 10 (ten) days prior to the closing date. The work underthe construction services contract (Owner/Contractor Agreement) resulting from this RFP, will include the following scope ofwork: Remove the existing roof, repair, and prepare forinstallation ofnew roofing materials as well as cleanup ofthe work area. This task includes the fabrication and installation of pans, valleys, drip edges, rake trim, and related items needed for a new standing seam metal roof. Wooden substructure repairs (rafters & purlins), repair and installation oftrim materials such as spout board, rake board, scotia & soffit. All work shall be performed in accordance with all local, county, state and federal laws and regulations. Asthis project is located on property used by the general public, the contractor is to perform daily clean up of any buildings, materials and debris on a daily basis. Modifications to the scope may be made during the RFP process and will be issued on the County's Public Purchase website. The proposed work shall comply with appropriate local, State and Federal regulatory requirements. All work shall be done in a safe manner and comply with all governing regulations concerning safety. This shall include, but not limited to OSHA, MOSHA etc. Adequate barricades shall be erected and maintained all around areas where material and equipment are stored and used. The Farm Museum will be open to the public and various events during the time ofthe project. It is the responsibility ofthe contractor to make sure work site is properly secure and not accessible to the public |
