SW 9th & Alder Streets Reconstruction

The Work consists of pulverizing and/or removal of existing pavement & other improvements, water main replacement, storm improvements, sewer improvements, sub grade preparation/verification, grading, compacting, asphalt paving, curbs, sidewalks, street trees and lighting on existing City streets and associated work. Attention of bidders is directed to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed, especially regarding minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. BOLI Wage Rates will be required for all work completed as part of this project. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a bid bond payable to the City of Dundee, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish separate Performance and Payment Bonds submitted on the prescribed forms for faithful performance of the Contract in the full amount of the Contract (awarded) amount. The Surety issuing the bond must have an attorney-in-fact or a principal doing business in the State of Oregon. This information must be included on the bond statement. The City of Dundee reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for good cause, or any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner that it is in the public interest to do so, to postpone the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days, and to accept that proposal which is in the best interests of the City of Dundee. Work on the project can commence in accordance with section 180.43 after Notice to Proceed to be given as soon as contracts can be signed after Council approval of the award on June 6, 2023 and shall be completed within the following: (1) Complete in all respects by October 1, 2023.
