Description

Project Location: Multiple Locations Town/City: Woonsocket Submit all questions regarding this RFQ in writing to the Carolyn Girard at cgirard1@woonsocketschools.com by September 19, 2022 at 9:00 AM with the project name and number included (phone calls will not be allowed). Questions, if any, and responses will be posted on the Woonsocket Education Department portal. The project focuses on improving the elementary schools with some consideration for capital improvements to all school facilities. The following list is a summary for the proposed school projects. The A/E firm will be tasked with supporting the completion of this effort and determining approach to master plan in coordination with preparation of a Stage II submittal. Current efforts suggest the following projects, however approach and projects may evolve as analysis is ongoing: Bernon Heights Elementary School (potential new school) Citizens Memorial Elementary School (anticipated to be closed) Kevin K. Coleman Elementary School (anticipated to be closed) Globe Park Elementary School (potential new school) Governor Aram J. Pothier Elementary School (existing building to remain with potential major addition) Harris Elementary School (existing building to remain with capital improvements) Leo A. Savoie Elementary School (existing building to remain with capital improvements) Hamlet Middle School (existing building to remain with capital improvements) Villa Nova Middle School (existing building to remain with capital improvements) Woonsocket High School (existing building to remain with capital improvements) The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
