Description

Provide all labor, materials and equipment required to complete all the Work under a single, lump sum contract for 23-07A, Bus Wash Facility Improvements, located at 705 30th Street, Hoquiam, Washington, as shown on the Drawings and described in the Project Manual. Items of the Work include, but are not limited to: Remove existing metal roofing & siding and dispose off site. Provide new metal roofing and siding. Provide building insulation. Paint existing metal building structure and framing. Replace existing metal doors, frames, and hardware. Replace existing lighting fixtures. Provide plumbing and electrical service and final connections to new vehicle washing equipment. Additive Alternates include: a. Concrete aprons and building entrance and exit.. b. Asphalt Pavement at each end of building. A bid security, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond is required with each Bid in an amount equal to (5) percent of the Base Bid Liability under each of the bonds shall be 100 percent of the contract sum, including state sales tax, for: 1. Performance. 2. Labor and Material Payment. 3. One-year maintenance for correction of defective work. Grays Harbor Transit reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids not accompanied by bid security or data required by the bidding documents or a bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
