Description This project is located at the Edenton National Fish Hatchery in Chowan County, North Carolina. 1. Remove existing salt well drop pipe, motor, wire and pump. Test pump and motor to determine working condition. 2. Use a camera to inspect well screens for blockage. Determine need of cleaning. Scrub and wash using standard well screen cleaning practices. 3. Conduct a pump/flow test to determine the gallons per minute that can safely be produced to avoid over pumping. 4. Size and replace motor and pump based on flow test if needed. 5.Install drop pipe, pump, motor, wiring, and aboveground piping. At completion of repair work well must be working and water flowing to ponds and head tank. 6. All work shall be done according to National Code, manufacturer requirements and installed neatly with good workmanship. Minimum of one (1) year warranty on labor.
