Description | The Grand River Dam Authority is a non-appropriated agency of the State of Oklahoma, as defined by 82 O.S. 861, et seq., governed by a seven-member Board of Directors, authorized and empowered to, among other things, produce and sell electric power and energy to wholesale and certain retail customers. The Authority's primary service area is Northeast Oklahoma, where it serves 15 municipal customers at wholesale. GRDA also directly serves wholesale municipal customers in Kansas (1), Arkansas (2), and Missouri (1) and indirectly serves other communities throughout Oklahoma and Kansas through wholesale power contracts with the Oklahoma Municipal Power Authority, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative, and the Kansas Municipal Energy Agency. Meter count estimates for each GRDA municipal customer are as follows: Customer A 12300, Customer B 6300, Customer C 3098, Customer D 4100, Customer E 2686, Customer F 8500, Customer G 1372, Customer H 4800, Customer I 4200, Customer J 7500, Customer K 8000, Customer L 21000, Customer M 1500, Customer N 1500, Customer O 8000, Customer P 3306. In addition, the Authority serves retail customers in the MidAmerica Industrial Park near Pryor, Oklahoma. GRDA seeks to identify one or more Respondent(s) to contract with GRDA and/or participating GRDA wholesale municipal customers regarding the design, development, deployment, operation, and management of Advanced Metering Infrastructure systems in GRDA Wholesale Customer communities. GRDA estimates that the total number of metersto be deployed, within six to ten GRDA WholesaleCustomer communities, will be 50,000 - 80,000.
