Asbestos Abatement Police Old Zone 3

Abatement of asbestos containing material located at Old Police Zone 3 (1729 Mary Street, Pittsburgh PA). Per existing asbestos report, attached, ACM was detected in pipe fittings, floor tile, mastic, boiler packing and fire doors. Please note that the report refers to the building as Fire Station #24, however, the vacant side of the building is Old Police Zone 3 and the Fire Station side has already been abated. The rough estimate of the square footage for all spaces in the vacant side of the building (old police zone 3) that need to be abated is: • 1,050 square feet (first floor) •1,350 square feet (basement) •35 fire doors •boiler packing •60 pipe fittings
