Description

General Maintenance, Department of Veterans Affairs, Puget Sound Campuses, WA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation for bids, proposals, proposal abstracts, or quotations. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to perform a potential requirement. The responses received from interested contractors will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 20, is conducting market research to identify potential sources which can provide the following services: Title: General Maintenance Tasks: Furnish all labor, materials, tools, specialized equipment, and supervision necessary to perform General Maintenance, with ancillary construction if necessary. This may include but is not limited to: General building maintenance and upkeep such as: Automatic door repairs Cable repair Carpentry, general and specialty Concrete forming, pouring, cutting, repair and finishing Framing and roofing Metal framing, substructure s etc. Insulation Drywall and spackling Painting and specialty wall coverings Flooring Doors, windows, and hardware Landscaping, arboriculture, gardening, sprinklers Cabinets Electric security locks and door operators Roads and parking such as: Patching Striping Environmental activities such as: Asbestos abatement Lead based paint abatement Electrical Installation and repair such as: Installing new electrical circuits and load centers Repairing electrical receptacles and existing lighting Metering load centers All other Power Generator repairs Transformers Transmission lines Conduits above and below grade Panels, breakers, fuses, circuits Switches, relays, and outlets Lamps, bulbs, standard and LED General electrical gear and components Repair and Testing of Mechanical Systems Medical Air stations, compressors, valves, and equipment Medical air piping systems Medical Vacuum stations, compressors, valves, and equipment Dental Air stations, compressors, valves, and equipment Dental Vacuum stations, compressors, valves, and equipment Dental Amalgamator and heavy metal filters Dental plaster traps repair Medical Bulk Oxygen tanks, valves, fill nozzles, and supply lines Air compressors Equipment stands, supports, and platforms For emergency situations, the prime contractor should be able to respond and be on site ready to work within 2 hours. All trade/craft journeyman and apprentice workers who are required to be licensed in the state of Washington to do their trade/craft work must hold a valid certification issued by the state of Washington in their specialty trade/craft if they are to be dispatched to the Puget Sound VA Health Care System to perform trade/craft work. Similarly, trade/craft journeyman and apprentice workers must hold valid certification issued by the State of Washington in their specialty trade/craft if they are to be dispatched to any of the VA community-based clinics located in Washington. The sub-contractors who work under the prime contractor shall carry the appropriate contractor s licensure and certification for the trade/craft work they perform in the state of Washington under the prime contractor. Locations: The work will primarily be at Seattle Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) Campus in Seattle, WA and American Lake VAMC Campus in Tacoma, WA. May also include Ft Lawton Campus in West Seattle, WA, as well as smaller clinics and transitional resident locations within Puget Sound Veterans Affairs Health Care System (VAHCS). NAICS Anticipated: 238290, Other Building Equipment Contractors $22.0M Size Standard or 561210, Facilities Support Services, $47.0M Size Standard Type of Contract Anticipated: One Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC) Min/Max Contract Value Anticipated: $2,000/ $7,000,000 over entire life on contract. Period of Performance Anticipated: 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2028; additionally, 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services for an additional six (6) months is anticipated.
