Description

Scope of Work: 1.1 The contractor is to wipe down and remove drips, stains, dust, and particulate from all horizontal surfaces, shelves, cupboards, closets, cabinets, and under-sink cabinets. 1.2 All carpets will be thoroughly vacuumed with stains being spot treated and extracted utilizing housing maintenance equipment. 1.3 All heating baseboard radiators will have their covers removed and will be vacuumed until free of all dust, pet hair, and particulate. 1.4 All door, closet, baseboard, and other trim work will be dusted. 1.5 Wall stains will be cleaned with a non-marking cleaner or tool as needed. 1.6 Ceiling fans will be dusted utilizing fan tool or wiped clean until free of dust. 1.7 All window blinds will be lowered and dusted utilizing a purpose built duster or appropriate vacuum attachment. The blind mechanism and fascia will be dusted. 1.8 All windows accessible without a ladder will be cleaned interior and exterior with glass cleaner and will be streak-free. 1.9 All window sills will be wiped clean utilizing a bleach solution and will be free of dust, particulate, and mold. 1.10 All ceramic tile, laminate, or vinyl floors will be swept and mopped and will be free of stains and particulate. 1.11 Toilets will be cleaned and treated with a bleach solution or specific toilet cleaner. 1.12 Bathroom sinks, tubs, and showers will be cleaned with a non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and will be free of mildew, mold, and soap scum. 1.13 Bathroom vents will be vacuumed or wiped free of all dust, mold, and particulate. 1.14 Kitchen sinks will be cleaned free of stains. Non-abrasive cleaner is to be used on solid surface counters and sinks. All adjacent chrome fixtures will be cleaned and spot-free. 1.15 Garbage disposals will be treated with a disposal cleaner/deodorizer. 1.16 Dishwashers will be treated with a dishwasher cleaning treatment. 1.17 Oven and range surfaces will be scrubbed or treated to be free of food, stains, carbon, and crumbs. Fume free cleaners should be used. 1.18 Range hoods will be dusted and cleaned inside and out of all grease, stains, and food. Hood vent filters will be soaked and cleaned in an ammonia solution. 1.19 Refrigerators and ranges will be pulled out to ensure complete cleaning of the floors and walls under and behind. 1.20 After cleaning is complete, contractor will contact POC to ensure that unit is cleaned to a satisfactory level. 1.21 The contractor shall ensure that each home is left in a clean and orderly condition. All hardware, electrical, and plumbing accessories shall be reinstalled. 1.22 The contractor will be responsible for disposal of any hazardous waste generated. Any cleaning waste generated onsite may be disposed of in the individual unit garbage. 1.23 It is encouraged that the contractor review the work site before quoting, by contacting the POC. 1.24 It is encourage that the contractor review the work site before quoting, by contacting the POC. 1.25 Approximate square foot for each unit is 1.25.1 2 bedroom units: 1,124 sq. ft per unit; 4 Units fall under this approximate measurement. 1.25.2 3 bedroom unit: 1,515 sq. ft per unit; 6 Units fall under this approximate measurement. 1.25.3 4 bedroom unit: 1,890 sq. ft. per unit; 4 Units fall under this approximate measurement.
