Description

This project generally consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to remove the existing pump, motor, and column assembly; furnish and install submersible pump, submersible slim-line motor, seal section, motor sensor, power cable, sounding tubes, replacement gasket for split discharge head, and all appurtenant materials; refurbish existing submersible pump, submersible slim-line motor, and motor sensor; well rehabilitation; chlorinate the well and pumping assembly; and complete an efficiency test; in accordance with the specifications To be eligible to submit a bid, the Bidder, or subcontractor, must possess a valid State of Hawai'i C-57a or C-68 Contractor's license. The original executed and notarized Standard Qualification Questionnaire for Offerors form ("SQQ") provided by the Department of Water Supply is required to be filed with the Manager-Chief Engineer for evaluation no later than eight (8) days prior to the time advertised for the opening of bids unless the bidder has previously filed a Questionnaire within the previous two (2) years of the date of opening of bids. Bid Bond required The Contractor shall submit to the Manager-Chief Engineer, prior to starting any work on the project, a work schedule or timetable which shall be closely adhered to throughout the period ofthe contract. The work schedule shall show the various divisions of work and their proposed sequence of operation and shall also show estimated monthly payments that will be requested throughout the contract period. Prospective bidders must file with the Manager-Chief Engineer their Intent to Bid no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the time advertised for opening of bids.
