Description | As of November 21, 2022, construction is underway and nearing completion. Construction is expected to be completed in December, 2022. The renovation area in Building 16 to be impacted by the project feature the following interior finishes: concrete floors, gypsum wallboard and wall panel walls, and fiberglass insulated metal under decking. The exterior of the building features corrugated metal siding and roof. Existing walls in the shop and classroom to the demolished and new walls constructed. Shop to be enclosed but left unconditioned, classroom to have independent conditioning systems, mechanical and electrical systems to be adjusted with equipment movements in unconditioned welding shop. Bid Alternate #1: Fume Exhaust Recirculation Base Bid: Greenheck industrial process fume exhaust blowers with open radial wheel in the upblast discharge position mounted on structural steel support members with cross struct bracings. Per Spec Section 233400 and Drawing Sheets M-003 and M-701 Additive Alternate: Filtair fume exhaust recirculation system provides high filtration efficiency to remove welding fume particulates from exhaust air stream while returning purified air back to welding shop. Per Spec Section 233400 and Drawing Sheets M-003 and M-701 For bid proposals exceeding $1M, each bidder shall submit Form A (HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical) with it's bid proposal or within one hour after the bid submittal time and date. Form B (Structural Steel Install, Rebar Install) within 48 hours after the bid submittal time and date. The State of Washington prevailing wage rates are applicable for this public works project located in Thurston County.
