Description | To provide Industrial Cleaning and Environmental Services on as-needed or ongoing basis at various OUC service locations. The following list of industrial cleaning and environmental services describes the general scope of the services to be performed under this solicitation: 1. Chemical Cleaning: a. Chemical cleaning shall mean a method that utilizes chemical solutions to derive surfaces and walls of equipment, pipelines, vessels, kettles and heat exchangers of unwanted contaminants along with any fouling from inside the plant or any equipment thereof. Chemical cleaning can also involve the purification, conditioning, treatment or disinfection of water. 2. Hydro-blasting and Ultrahigh Pressure Cleaning a. Hydroblasting shall mean a technique for cleaning surfaces, which excludes any abrasive and relies entirely on the energy of water striking a surface to achieve its cleaning effect. b. Ultrahigh Pressure Cleaning shall mean a material surface cleaning process that uses water propelled at a high velocity to remove contaminants and other debris. 3. Grit-blasting a. Grit-blasting shall mean a surface treatment process whereby abrasive particles are fired through a nozzle using compressed air. 4. Hydrowashing a. Hydrowashing shall mean the process whereby water is propelled at high speeds to clean surfaces and materials. 5. Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaning a. Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaning shall mean the process for simultaneously removing any powders, solids and liquids via suction. 6. High Volume Pump Services a. High Volume Pump Services shall mean a device that moves liquids, slurries, or gases by mechanical action. 7. Tank Cleaning Services a. Tank Cleaning Services shall mean the process of removing hydrocarbon vapours, liquids or residues from a prescribed surface For Location details See Page:22 in Request for Proposal |
