CR Number: 2087103 HVAC Steam and Mechanical Emergency and Routine Services The State University of New York at Buffalo, "University", is submitting an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for HVAC, Steam and Mechanical, Emergency and Routine Services. It is the intent of these emergency and routine procedures to assure that all HVAC, steam, and mechanical equipment is operational within industry and manufacturer's tolerances The Bidder/Contractor shall have been in business a minimum of five (5) years and shall be experienced in the supervision of an installation/service of this scope with at least five (5) years' experience in servicing and maintaining HVAC, steam, and mechanical equipment. The actual work shall be done by qualified and experienced employees working under the Bidder/Contractor's supervision or under the supervision of an experienced supervisor who has also been doing this type of work for five (5) years. Contractor shall exert good faith efforts to achieve a participation goal of sixteen percent 16%) for certified Minority-Owned Business Enterprises and fourteen percent (14%) for certified Women-Owned Business. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 16% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 14% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 6% Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 0% Contract term: One Year with the option to review for two, one year renewals
