Emerson Avenue Improvement Project

The work includes roadway improvements along select segments of Emerson Avenue, from George Street to Union Street, and French Street, from Fruit Avenue to Emerson Avenue. Work will include, but not be limited to, select clearing and grubbing; select demolition of existing brick streets, sandstone curbing, concrete sidewalks, concrete driveway aprons, post mounted signage, storm inlets, and storm sewers; construction of new aggregate subbase, asphalt pavement, longitudinal joint sealing, pavement markings, concrete curbing, concrete sidewalks, and concrete drive aprons; Contractor design-build ADA curb ramps; installation of new storm inlets, storm sewers, self-leveling grad adjustment manhole frames and covers, and post mounted roadway signage; structure backfill using flowable fill; and site restoration
