Description | There are three projects priced separately and awarded as a total: The first project is the installation of four sets of handicapped ramps and associated sidewalk replacement, then milling and paving of the E. Noble Street/Chestnut Street intersection and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. The second project involves the paving of approximately 512 linear feet of the alley off Fairchild Street. The work includes but is not limited to excavation, leveling, paving and sealing and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. The third project involves re-piping two stormwater pipes to a storm water manhole, replacement of approximately 190 lineal feet of sanitary sewer, installation of four sets of handicapped ramps and associated sidewalk replacement, then milling and paving of the intersection of E. Ridge Street/Chestnut Street intersection and all materials, labor and equipment necessary for a complete installation. Paper sealed bids shall be submitted to the municipality at the above address Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same. The limits of work are marked out in white paint. Any contractor who does not do so and submits a bid does so at his own risk. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within SIXTY (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids. PA Labor wage rates apply to this contract. There are no MBE/WBE requirements for this project.
