CTH-C Bridge over Turtle Creek

In general, the work under this project consists of removing and replacing the CTH-C Bridge over Turtle Creek with a new 50-foot long, 35- foot wide, single-span, flat slab bridge (Structure No. B-64-208). The work also includes excavation and grading, base aggregate-dense, HMA pavement, erosion control, beam guard, restoration, and all incidental items necessary to complete the work. No information provided verbally, or by any other personnel, will be considered binding. PROJECT COMPLETION: All work under this Contract shall be completed by October 7, 2023. Bid Bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the bid price, payable to Walworth County, Wisconsin, as a guarantee that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute and file the proper contract documents within fifteen (15) days after notification of award of the contract. In case the successful bidder shall fail to execute such contract documents, the bid bond shall be forfeited to Walworth County as liquidated damages. Bids may be withdrawn only in total and only by a written request to Walworth County Purchasing, Department of Public Works, prior to the time and date of the scheduled bid deadline. Walworth County reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, received in response to this advertisement, to waive any irregularities in bidding, or to accept any bid they deem most advantageous to the County.
