Description | Multi-Year (5 year) Agency Term Contract for, Water Storage Tank Inspection & Maintenance. To provide annual inspection, routine maintenance and emergency repair service as requested. To ensure the integrity of the three coat epoxy coating systems on the internal and external surfaces on one (1) 256,000 gallon water tank, one (1) 750,000 gallon water tank at the Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville, TN. 1. Inspect foundations for settlement. 2. Inspect valve pit, thrust block, slab, base plate, anchorage, and grout. 3. Inspect tank shell, shafts, columns, and expansion joints. 4. Inspect tank interior above high-water level. 5. Inspect and replace, as needed, anodes (where applicable). 6. Inspect level probes, tank gauges, and roof pressure/vacuum vents. 7. Inspect tank/riser and roof manholes/hatches, all ladders & safety devices. 8. Inspect condensate drains, check valves, overflow, and access tube manhole. 9. Inspect obstruction lights/beacons. 10. Inspect gaskets. 11. Submit written report to the facility representative on the condition of the equipment and any operational recommendations including details on any necessary repairs including estimated cost to include labor, materials, and parts. The omission of detailed specifications does not limit the quality of service rendered and only the best commercial practices are acceptable. All work shall comply with industry guidelines. All repairs, maintenance testing and inspections must be performed in accordance with recommended procedures of the manufacturer and in a craftsman like manner. The State's representative will be provided a hard copy of any service bulletins and/or flyers that are applicable to the equipment to be added to owner's Operational and Maintenance Manuals. Any modification from existing designed system shall be immediately approved by facility manager and notations made for the Operation and Maintenance Manuals. The service provider will provide within 24-hour continuing information of any work or repairs on any task that is not complete. All effort will be made to provide follow-up repairs within a day after the initial visit or estimated date giving as to when repairs can be expected. Service ticket is required to be left with the owner representative upon every visit. |
