Painting & Structural Repairs of Bridges & Elevated Structures; Furnishing & Installing a Second Negative Return Dyre Avenue Line (IRT) and White Plains Road (IRT)

The scope of work for this contract requires the following repair and installation Work at certain locations on the Dyre Avenue Line and the White Plains Road Line in the Borough of the Bronx: 1. Structural repairs to and abrasive blasting and painting of seventeen (17) bridges on the Dyre Avenue Line. 2. Structural repairs to portions of the elevated structure, including rehabilitation of the E.180th St. abutment, on the White Plains Road Line. Abrasive blasting and painting of the elevated structure between 175th St. and the E. 180th St. abutment. 3. Installation of a second negative return rail (Type 84C) with associated connections on the Dyre Avenue Line
