Description | **As of August 23, 2022, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Project consists of stream bank stabilization measures including gabion basket walls, modular block walls, riprap slope protection and live stake protection. The stream bed will be regraded to pre-Ida conditions and debris will be removed. A portion of York Street is also proposed to be reconstructed in correlation to damage sustained from Hurricane Ida. The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials, and equipment required for this project as described in the Construction Documents. The Contract will allow 90 calendar days for completion of the work from the notice to proceed. Written request must contain company name, company address, contact name, contact telephone number, contact fax telephone number, and contact email address in order to receive link to download documents. In submitting this request you will be registered for this bid, only registered bidders will be allowed to submit a bid. All digital documents are at no cost to bidder. One hard copy and one electronic copy of the Bids shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the City of Lambertville , or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that They can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder will be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bids must be placed in sealed envelopes and delivered in person to the City Clerk in the Municipal Building at 18 York Street , Lambertville, New Jersey 08530 with the Proposal description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. The submitted bid packages shall be complete with the bid description and the name and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. The outside of the envelope must contain the name and address of the Bidder and also must identify the bid as for Emergency Watershed Protection Program . The City of Lambertville reserves the right to consider bids for sixty (60) days after their receipt. The right is reserved to waive any informalities, to accept bids which it deems most favorable to the interest of the City to make an award on each item separately or as a whole and to accept any Bid or to reject any or all Proposals in accordance with the Specifications and the Bid forms. |
