| Description | The MDOC Kinross Correctional Facility desires that bubble gates and various doors be replaced in the Kinross Correctional Facility (KCF) due to the age of the existing gates and the need to upgrade to current agency standards for minimum gate requirements. The project will consist of removal and replacement of the automatic sliding steel security gates and related steel sidelight frames. All work is within the Administration building. Security gate replacement work shall include new hollow metal detention grade doors and frames, power operated sliding door hardware, security glazing, removal/replacement andrefinishing of existing finishes, and new upgrades and modifications to the existing security gate controls and control stations, including new wiring and conduit. The existing gates are of different ages and constructions. |
