| Description | The City of Ames is accepting bids from qualified vendors for liquid carbon dioxide for the Water & Pollution Control Department. This request will be used to establish contract pricing for the period July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, with the option to renew for an additional one year extension through June 30, 2025. It is not known precisely what the actual liquid carbon dioxide requirements will be since this depends upon water quality and consumption. For this contract the amount of liquid carbon dioxide is estimated to be 350 tons. The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
