| Description | 1. A comprehensive monitoring program of phytoplankton and zooplankton populations to assess overall health and lake ecology. 2. A comprehensive fish survey to establish baseline fish community structure and the potential need for removal of species which may be detrimental to the overall Lake ecosystem and/or the introduction of native fishes. 3. Assessment of the sediment depth in targeted areas to determine the benefits of removal of the organic matter, methods of removal to be determined based on results of the assessment. 4. Aquascaping to address sediment inputs and provide fish and invertebrate habitat and wildlife foraging opportunities. 5. Stocking of native fish. 6. Removal of invasive terrestrial species in the immediate area surrounding the lake basins. 7. Herbicide application targeting terrestrial invasive species present on the islands and peninsulas along the shorelines of the lake, with cutting and removal of dead biomass 8. Replanting of areas as needed with native terrestrial buffer species 9. Education of the community at Lake Lucille about invasive species control, use of fertilizers, importance of planting native vegetation buffers along lake shore areas, etc. | ||||
