Description

Preliminary Engineering and Design, and Right-of-Way Services to extend 17th Street NW from 9th Avenue NW to Clement Blvd NW. The project included bike lanes and sidewalks or multi-use path. The extension would provide a continuous route from US 70 to Clement Blvd NW and could provide a parallel alternative to US 321. The connection from the 17th Street NE Extension would also provide a safer route for cyclist to reach Aviation Walk that includes a bicycle and pedestrian bridge over US 321 north of Clement Blvd.
