Johnson High School HVAC Replacement

The Project consists of replacement of the majority of the existing HVAC systems currently serving the school. The replacement of HVAC system will include air handling units, fans, ventilation hoods, unit heaters, and baseboard radiation. Existing classroom unit ventilators will be removed and these rooms will now be served from new air handling units. VAV boxes with reheat coils will now serve most occupied spaces. The project includes the installation of a geothermal heat pumps system and a vertical well field to provide air conditioning and heating for the school along with a high efficiency condensing boiler for supplemental heat. New ceilings will be installed in corridor spaces to conceal new ductwork and piping. Soffits shall be utilized in classroom areas to also conceal ductwork and piping. Three structural steel platforms will be installed on the roof to support new roof top air handling units. New LED lighting to be installed in classroom and corridor spaces. Project will also include an Add Alternate to replace the network and cabelling system throughout the school.
