Description | Middle Island Visitor Center HVAC Installation Ohio River Islands National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center Annex at Middle Island Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning Installation Statement of Work 1 February 10, 2023 Location: Fish and Wildlife Service, Ohio River Island, 3856 Waverly Road, Williamstown, WV 26187. Middle Island Visitor Center Annex there is no street address to this location. From the town of St. Marys, Take George Street across the bridge onto Middle Island and continue about a mile on a gravel road to the building/worksite (one of only two buildings on the Island). This is a turnkey project to include all required incidental work and materials, such as vapor-proof piping insulation and sealing of wall penetrations. Work: All work to be performed by WV licensed HVAC and Electrical Tradesman Furnish and install a ductless mini split HVAC system in the Visitor Center Annex portion of building approx. 900 sq.ft. System to consist of condensing unit set on a pad on grade 2 mini split high wall mounted indoor units that are compatible with the condensing unit Install necessary wiring from panel to condensing unit and to each wall unit Furnish and install wall mounted thermostat Furnish and install condensate piping from each indoor wall unit to outside Nitrogen pressure test the refrigerant linesets, evacuate, and charge system with refrigerant Perform start-up and check for proper operation Disconnect and remove two electric hanging heaters and remove wiring to safe disconnect and make safe Owner will retain electric hanging heaters for future deployment Minimum Equipment to be furnished: Provide submittals of proposed equipment for review and approval by FWS before ordering equipment 3 ton mini split condensing unit. 36 MBH cooling, 30.36 MBH heating @7 degrees outdoor.
