Description

Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of contract plans and documents for the following transportation project: New London Turnpike Complete Street Improvements. The project design shall include improvements to pedestrian and bicycle facilities on New London Turnpike between Town Street and Route 82. These improvements include installation of sidewalk in high pedestrian priority areas, ADA improvements to existing sidewalks and existing signalized intersections, the installation of shared lane and bike lane markings, and the installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons. The Consulting Engineering firm selected may also be required to provide survey, prepare environmental documents and perform construction inspection.
