2023 Roadway Rehabilitation Project

The work includes the construction of approximately: 29,000 LF Sanitary Sewer Lining (8" & 9" Dia VCP) 400 LF Remove and Replace Sanitary Sewer 28,000 LF Remove and Replace Water Main (6" to 12" Dia) 34,000 LF Remove and Replace 4" Sewer and 1" Water Services 55 LF 1" Water Service (Trenchless) 45 LF Line Existing 4" Sewer Service 15,000 LF Remove and Replace Storm Sewer (12" to 42" Dia) 115,000 SY Remove Bituminous Street Pavement 78,000 CY Common and Subgrade Excavation 40,000 TN Aggregate Backfill Modified 64,000 TN Aggregate Base, Class 5 61,000 LF Remove and Replace B618 Concrete Curb and Gutter 28,000 TN Bituminous Mixture for Streets 1,500 TN Bituminous Mixture for Trails 140,000 SY Restoration (Seed/Hydraulic Matrix, Topsoil/Compost Mix) 5,900 LF Pavement Markings, Latex Paint 1 LS Revise Signal System 400 EA Deciduous Tree, 1.5" Cal, B&B together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. The City of Woodbury has adopted a standard document entitled "Standard Project Manual for Utility and Street Construction", dated January 1, 2023, which includes the Procurement and Contracting Requirements and Specifications which are hereby incorporated into the Bidding Documents. Bidders are required to obtain a copy of this standard document once per year. BID SECURITY: A proposal bond in the amount of not less than 5 percent of the total amount bid, drawn in favor of City of Woodbury shall accompany each bid. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to retain the deposits of the 3 lowest Bidders for a period not to exceed 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening of Bids. No Bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the date and time set for the Opening Bids. OWNER'S RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract to other than the lowest bidder if, in their discretion, the interest of the Owner would be best served thereby. There are approximately 6 miles of streets within the project area that will be rehabilitated. The method of rehabilitation consists of full reconstruction with new concrete curb and gutter. Some of the streets will be narrowed to allow room for new bituminous trails. In addition, the water main, sewer and water services, and storm sewer will also be replaced. The sanitary sewer will be lined with a cured-in-place pipe.
