Description | The Project is being bid in bid packages and shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by Ambler Architects and shall consist of furnishing all materials, supplies, equipment, tools, services, labor and incidental work as required to construct the project described in general as follows: Remodel of an existing 6,500 sf. structure and associated site work and parking lot. Bid Packages include: #2A: Site Work and Site Demo #2B: Building Demo #2C: Storm Drainage #3A: Building Concrete #3B: Site Concrete and Asphalt #3C: Insulated Concrete Forms #4A: Masonry #5A: Structural Steel & Miscellaneous Steel Supply and Erection #6A: Millwork Wood Paneling, Wood Trim, and Window Sills #6B: Timber Framing #7A: EIFS and Air and Moisture Barrier #7B: Metal Roofing, Fascia, and Trim #8A: Hollow Metal Frames, Metal Doors, Solid Core P-Lam Doors, Lead Lined Doors, and Hardware #8B: Aluminum Framed Storefronts, Glass, and Glazing #8C: Installation Labor and Misc. Supply #9A: Metal Studs, Insulation, Gypsum, FRP, Acoustical Ceilings, and Rough Blocking #9B: Painting & Sealed Floors #9C: Hard Tile, LVT, Carpet Tiles, and Rubber Base #10A: Signage (Supply and Install) #10B: Specialties Supply #22A: Plumbing and Site Utilities #23A: Heating, Vent, and Air Conditioning #26A: Electrical/Fire Alarm #32A Chain Link Fence Questions should be directed to: Michael Barnes, Construction Manager 19080 CR 1590 Ada, Oklahoma 74820 Phone: (580) 332-1404 Any Bidder who wishes to propose an alternate or substitute material for bidding shall follow the procedures outlined in Section 00200 Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder will be required to provide an AIA Document A305, "Contractor's Qualification Statement", at the time of the bid opening. All over $50,000 must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, payable without reserve, to the owner and Construction Manager as dual obligees in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid. This security is given as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a Contract with the Construction Manager for the construction of this project, furnish satisfactory labor and materials, maintenance and performance bonds and insurance certificates within ten (10) days after notice of award, and in the event of failure to do so, shall pay to the Owner the sum of five percent (5%) of said bid as liquidated damages. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the bid opening date. Bids received more than ninety-six (96) hours before the time set for receiving bids as well as bids received after the time set for receipt of bids will not be considered, and will be returned unopened. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities or minor irregularities in any bid, and to determine and select the lowest and best bid. The amount of the deposit for drawings and specifications will be returned to each actual Bidder who returns the drawings and specifications UNMARKED, complete with all Addenda, and in good condition within ten (10) days after opening of bids. |
